Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD, ARMD)

Drusen are tiny hyaline deposits on Bruch’s membrane (of the retinal pigment epithelium). Dru- sen can appear as hypo or hyper-autofluorescent. Peripheral drusen and especially pigmentary changes can suggest a poor prognosis. Age-Related Macular Degeneration
